Buncombe County Registrar giving Same Sex Couples False hope.

Gay couples lined up this morning outside the office of the Buncombe County registrar, who is issuing but not signing marriage licenses today. Attorney General Roy Cooper is defending the state against the lawsuit brought by the ACLU, even though he personally supports marriage equality. Buncombe County is home to Asheville, arguably the most liberal city in North Carolina.

Recently I decided to check out Matt Comer Facebook page, for some strange reason.. I was shock to read his opinion and the comments from his followers about a 19 yo who has decided to run for public office here in NC.

Even though he is very young and a tea partier the chances of him winning this office (nc house) is very slim, if not impossible. But you have to admired him for trying.

Matt wrote the following, A 19-year-old and recent graduate is running for N.C. House in Surry County. He's conservative and a Tea Partier. He says he wants to "nullify Obamacare in North Carolina." His high school learning is still fresh in his mind, so it's obvious that he either willfully chooses to believe bullshit or just skipped out on all those classes about the Civil War. Nullification? Really? Dude, come join us in reality and the 21st century won't you?

It would seem Matt has an issue with his decision to make sure Obama Care never comes to NC. The young guy used the word nullify, which might not have the been the best choice of word for this action, but it does fit in a way.

Nullify, a verb “make legally null and void: invalidate. via Merriam Webster online Dictionary.

Now the comments are at best neutral,

one said he would rather see Matt hailing the initiative of this young man, then opposed to criticizing him for his views. Another commenter  said that he disagree with his views, but glad to see young people getting involved, even if they are from Surry County. Another basically claims the young man has been brain washed.

Yet another commenter thinks the young man is retarded, while another claims he is 50 shades of inbreed. One makes the claim that after high school the only choice was politics or a meth lab.

Now remember Matt is a LGBT Activist and political junkie, he doesn’t list his political party, but I’m sure he is a democrat. 

Now if this person was running on the LGBT ticket I’m sure Matt would be promoting and endorsing this person. But since he is a Tea partier Matt feels it open season to attack him.

 

It’s would seem Gay marriage is more important then Employment Protection

Illinois already includes gay people in its public accommodation laws, but that hasn't stopped the local Catholic stormtroopers from lying about what the pending marriage equality bill will mean for busineses. (Which is nothing, of course, since that law is long established and has nothing to do with same-sex marriage.)  Freep the fuck out of this.

I would rather have Employment Security before Marriage Equality..

Yes lets get married, then get fired from our jobs solely because we got married.

Chris Sgro picks his first boycott campaign for ENC,

The new Exe Dir. of Equality NC is making a splash for his first public statement/boycott/fundraiser.. and its deals with pasta, mainly Barilla pasta..

See, in todays world if a Business doesn’t blindly support the LGBT community, or if their CEO, Owner make a statement that they only support Traditional married, Gayinc will sound the alarm to attack them.. and all the good little sheep will respond to the call.

However, ENC want you use your noodles to fight back and join ENC family, (with is stupid since you have to join them to get this email,) and they want you tag your pasta loving pics with this hast tag, #boycottbarilla. It would seem that is being common place.

Gayinc is going after businesses who don’t fully support this. When will this stop? Gayinc is causing more hate then they are trying to end.

Also they want you to donate $10.55, which they claim is the cost of a six pack of Barilla pastas.

Unbelievable.

This week, Guido Barilla, chairman of the world's leading pasta manufacturer, prompted calls for a consumer boycott after telling Italian radio his company would never use a gay family in its advertising. As Barilla put it, "I would never do (a commercial) with a homosexual family...Ours is a classic family where the woman plays a fundamental role."

Well, as a gay Italian American, I'm ready to dish out a lesson in family values.

Let's use our noodles to fight back - join the Equality NC family on Facebook and Twitter as we show Guido that LGBT families enjoy eating as equals, by tagging your family's pasta-loving pics with the hashtag #boycottbarilla.

And while you're at it, help fight discrimination here at home:
Donate $10.55 today (the cost of a six-pack of Barilla) - to Equality NC's work to protect North Carolina's LGBT families from discrimination.

read the comments on Towleroad, and you can see how our so called leaders who make up Gayinc has brain wash folks. Where you can’t have a personally opinion about Gay Rights, well you can, but you can’t speak them.

Wow ENC: to hold a Community Chat in Rocky Mount,,

yes this is true, I search theirs Twitter feed, no tweet about this meeting, unless it was done under the PFlag Tweet feed.. I also check their FB feed, nothing about this chat.. A lot of post about their new fucking tee shirts and stickers.. See Eastern NC isn’t that important to ENC, unless they need money…

For a LGBT newspaper who claim to represent the Carolina’s  they seem to only care what the LGBT community of Charlotte thinks.

The last time I check there were LGBT communities in Greensboro, Ashville, Durham, Raleigh, and also in Greensville.
