Do you Remember this: EQUALITY IN ACTION | Postcard Campaign

Do you guys remember this fail campaign. They spent thousand of dollars on it for nothing.

Help Equality NC by volunteering for our Equality in Action Postcard Campaign against the anti-LGBT amendment! Whether you’re new to Equality NC or have been involved with us for years, we know you care about this issue and are dedicated to this cause. You know the damage this amendment will do to LGBT individuals, youth, families, and allies.  Getting postcards signed by your friends, neighbors, family, and coworkers is a great way to both bring the issue to light and to let NC senators and representatives know that voters in their district care about equal rights. 

In order to make a bigger impact, we're asking that each of you gather at least 25 postcards from your social circles, families, friends, co-workers, organizations, and faith communities. Collect the postcards as they are signed, and we'll include a return envelope with postage for you to send them back to us. We will duplicate each postcard so that each person's representative and senator receives one.

When we provide legislators with a stack of our postcards urging them not to vote for the anti-LGBT amendment, it not only makes a powerful statement but also proves there are fair-minded North Carolinians in their district. Won't you help us make that statement?

There are many steps that go into the full Postcard Campaign.  The most important step is volunteers getting postcards completed in their communities. In addition, we need volunteers in our Raleigh office to help us process postcard requests, track outstanding postcard kits, do data entry as we receive completed postcards, duplicate postcards in order to reach the signer's representative and senator, and organize postcards by legislative districts!

they deliver these cards on the first day of the session. Where the Senate voted and passed the amendment, the next day the House voted and passed the amendment. So in truth not one Rep or Sen., saw these cards fully till after the vote..

These Cards should have been delivered why before the first day of the Session. But those who thought they knew it all, Claim and Swore that no votes on this amendment would happen that fast.. Guess what, they were wrong.. , they delivered these cards while both the house and senate was is session.

yes that right, they blow it. they didn’t want his campaign to be a success, they wanted to fail.. Period. Just like Race to the Ballot was a failure. They ignore over 70% of NC and they wonder why we lost at the polls..

Equality NC is a joke here in NC, even before the Fruit-Loop stunt..

No matter what they say now, we know Amendment One WAS personal. We know members of the North Carolina General Assembly were perfectly willing to throw LGBT North Carolinians under the bus. If you're still angry about Amendment One, give to Equality NC Action Fund's PAYBACK CHALLENGE right now to help us build our political war chest so we can make a real difference for pro-equality candidates during this election year's priority races.

The truth is that we lost because EqualityNC and it many secondary face groups only campaigned in College towns and other cities with large LGBT Population. They completely ignore Eastern NC. They wasted so much money on new offices and equipment.

While ENC was working the college towns our counterparts where working those small urban towns in the East and those in the Mountains..  Our Lost can be directly connect to Gay INC.. Period. 

How we have a new video and a request for money..

To sweeten the pot, a very dedicated group of generous donors will match all gifts to Equality NC Action Fund by 50% now through midnight on September 20—up to $60,000!

Really, why don’t they just give ENC the $60 thou without us giving the same.. This how Gay INC works..

Question has anyone every seen their tax returns??? Yes, where are their 990’s forms???

WOW: Jen of ENC on Town Hall Meeting

While she was doing her little race to the ballot, she only found time for Rocky Mount and Greenville. Now during their last campaign They gave Greenville two day notice for their town hall meeting that was held at the Tipsy Teapot in Greenville while other location gets almost a whole month notice.These are where the LGBT community numbers are at their highest level in NC.

Hell Greenville folks didn’t even get this email in time.

I still have to wonder what ENC has against Eastern NC, they only visit Easter NC only after being called out for ignoring the east. That is why we lost Amendment 1 in the East, except for Dare County.

The only place we won concerning Amendment one is those area they worked the hardest in,or had a college or a local ENC Office.

Supporters of Amendment 1 has Billboards, Where are ours?

I tell you Gay INC is fucking this all up.

Yesterday Vote4marriageNC had a rally in Wilson were pastors and other pledge their support in voting for the Amendment..

I can only guess that our Orgs are only in this fight for the money...

Amendment 1: emails, tweets, other items

In a recent email from Equality NC they stated the following,

Your investment in the campaign against Amendment One to date has allowed us to mobilize thousands of volunteers, hire staff, open field offices and raise a substantial amount of resources to combat the misinformation from the other side. In short, hundreds of you have raised thousands of dollars to seed a million conversations about the harms of Amendment One.

after they let us know that national forces are mobilizing against us (like we didn’t already know) and they are force to ask for more money.. Which is always on the table and in ask in 90% of all emails.

So, they hire staff and open some offices in NC – not across NC only in high lgbt pop areas.

Going by that I can only guess that the direct mail is how they will be contacting those in the East.

Stuart Campbell mention that they raised over $600,000

My question is where did it go??? I hope that they didn’t spend all that on new offices and supplies, t-shirts, and posters? We may never know where all the money went..

They need money now for what they are planning to over the next three weeks,

We ask for your help today, because over the next three weeks we are making critical decisions regarding staff, television advertising, direct mail, and more. The latest Amendment One poll numbers show a majority of North Carolinians are with us, but we must raise the resources to mobilize these fair-minded folks and get them to the polls on May 8.

As you can see in the above screen cap, the offices are in central and western NC, nothing in the east. I have email them many times on this why they refuse to so any thing in Eastern NC.

However as of today it would seem that our bigoted friends are doing work in the East.

Yes, The VoteformarraigeNC is working the churches and one Bible school in the East to spread their Ideology of matter of marriage. So Where is Equality, and their meme groups,protect nc and Race to the Ballot, your guess is just as good as my.

Race to the Ballot did stop in Rocky Mount,NC and at ECU in Greenville, then they went south..
