I'm also very interested to see this movie, as a person who successfully abandoned his homosexuality as a sexual-addiction, by facing up to the real underlying issues that caused such an addiction in me, and then dealing with those in legitimate, non-sexual ways.

You see, I view homosexual behavior as a sexual drug that is used to mask the pain of a deeper issue. And, for me at least, same-sex attraction (SSA) had absolutely nothing to do with sex! It had everything to do with those deeper relationship issues from my youth. I've met many other men who found out the same thing that I did, and also abandoned homosexual behaviors. But I've yet to see the movie that would dare, today, to approach this subject with any balance of truth and hard facts toward that reasoning. And so I'm also very skeptical of this one. Movies like this tend to be very politically-correct and one-sided in their approach to this very emotional subject, and they tend to portray the Christian faith in a very negative, unrealistic light, showing it to be fanatical instead of loving. The ironic thing is that the very fact that I've taken this balanced approach toward my own homosexual behaviors, now makes me the target of the very kinds of hatred and abuse from gay activists, that they claim to be trying to overcome themselves. And I've found that their idea of "tolerance" really means, "We’re tolerant of the views of other people only inasmuch as they conform to our own beliefs about the homosexual lifestyle."

SNT: James Hartline wants to know where homosexuality first originated

Among the subjects that will be covered are:
Where did homosexuality originate from?
What was the significance of the ancient city of Sodom and what moved God to judge and destroy that city among all of the cities on the earth at that time?

Question: Where do you think homosexuality first originated? Who caused it and for what purpose?

Now this one is full of crap. First off James was once, and I sure he still is gay. He claims to be an ex-gay. Ok, Let's say he is corrected and that he is 100% straight now, then that would mean for thirty years he chose to service guys and have those guys service him and he rode the rod for fun and lay pipe as well. What was the conversion point in his life, what life changing event change his view on his own sexuality.

Could this be the reason below is a quote from Ex-gay Watch,

Though he spent many years having unsafe sex and abusing drugs, he believes that he was deliberately infected with HIV while having a sex and drug binge at a bathhouse.

Could been the cause, if so then why blame others for his own actions that lead to his infection.

We know that he doesn't like it when others call him on his crap, This is what he had to said about Ms Blog Diva Pam over at Pam's House blend.

Since that day on September 1, 2000, the devil has taken his best low blows at me. I have received many death threats. I have been spit on by supporters of the gay agenda. For He will give His angels charge concerning you, to guard you in all your ways."

Now he wants to force his so-called Christian views on others. Which by the way is ok, but others can't mention their views at all. Where does these Christians get off telling other how they are to live and to whom they so or shall pray too. Over all James just seem misguided and very confused at his age. However I sure it's not too late for him to be a sugar-daddy to some hot young male..

SNT: What is up with the so-called Ex-gays

Exodus International claims that conversion therapy, specifically reparative therapy, may be a useful tool for decreasing homosexual desire, but the overwhelming established medical and scientific consensus is that conversion therapy is not only ineffective but is also potentially harmful.[6] In the United States, the American Psychiatric Association issued a critical statement backed by numerous other mainstream medical organizations, which stated: "There is simply no sufficiently scientifically sound evidence that sexual orientation can be changed." The statement went on to say that positions espoused by ex-gay organizations "are not supported by the science" and that they "create an environment in which prejudice and discrimination can flourish." A 2008 pamphlet produced by the American Psychological Association urges that mental health organizations should respect clients' right to self-determination and "be sensitive to the client’s race, culture, ethnicity, age, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, socioeconomic status, language, and disability status when working with that client; and eliminate biases based on these factors." Ex-gay groups assert that the scientific community has taken its stances on homosexuality due to political, and not scientific, considerations.

These poor unfortunate souls, in pain, in need, and just plain stupid.. That rights anyone who is claims to be an x-gay is a damn liar. You can only deny who you really are for a short time. Basically these x-gays have only gone back in the closet. When they have sex I bet they are thinking about sex with the same sex. The only ones I could believe that have change are lesbians, However gay men just can't turn their sexuality on and off like a light switch. These men may claim to be str8 but I bet they are stepping out on their Ms. They are visiting the parks and the tea rooms looking for what they left behind.
