This book has cause more harm to man then any other item/weapon know to man.
Sad but true.
There are some good life lesson in it, I like this one the best, “Do onto others as you would have them done on to you”.
This book has been used to justify just about every war, Keeping African-American as slaves, Keeping women barefoot, pregnant and in the kitchen. It was used to block people from marring a persons of another race. It was used to keep women from voting and owning land.
Also this book is full on contradictions, thou shall not kill, yet in many case it calls for killings. “killing is wrong unless it a person who disagree with your religion.” “Its funny that you can kill other men, just don’t fuck their wives.”
I’m tired of them constantly using Leviticus, against people. Which is the third book of the bible.
this is the line they used against us everyday Leviticus 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
I see that the churches don’t call for this, Leviticus 20:10 And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death. I guess it time to start kill cheating spouses.
How about 19:11 Ye shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another.
There is this 19:13 Thou shalt not defraud thy neighbour, neither rob him: Just how many time have we heard a pastor/priest claim they need our money or god would strike them down.
They don’t talk about his one much either Leviticus 21:5 They shall not make baldness upon their head, neither shall they shave off the corner of their beard, nor make any cuttings in their flesh.
How about his one that deals pig skin, since we all love football, Leviticus 11:7 And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you. 11:8 Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase shall ye not touch; they are unclean to you.
Lets talk about these to from Exodus
21:7 And if a man sell his daughter to be a maidservant, she shall not go out as the menservants do.
I know for a fact that there are so many who break this one every week, even the Priests and Reverends, pastors,, Since this is their chosen work
Exodus 35:2 Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you an holy day, a sabbath of rest to the Lord: whosoever doeth work therein shall be put to death.
I think it time for new session of book burning starting with the Bible..
