Outgiving 2011 is now over, what is to come…

Yes the two day event where the cost to attend was $1400.00 per person is now over.

Yet still nothing is being said. What was talked about, who was there, and what new policies were created?

Will our NC blogger over at the Pams houseblend report what was going on at this very secretive meeting, or will be kept in the dark.

here’s where #OutGiving secrecy does a disservice to the movement at large: Real progress won’t come as long as politicians, particularly Democrats, can rely on big gay money even after doing nothing to earn it.

No press allowed? If Obama or HRC did this, there would a haterade for the next 3 months from certain bloggers and activists. Where is the transparency?

I know one blogger who would made it her mission to find out why. Yet she is now apart of this group, so I doubt we will see anything from her…

OutGiving Secret Gay Inc., Conference in FL

For those whom might not know there is another Dallas type meeting happening in Miami Fl, this weekend (THE MIAMI AGENDA 2011). Two hundred people were email a special invite to this event. Then they had to registered for the event which cost $1400.00 per person. This Event was hosted and planned by the Gill Foundation.. 

ALSO NO PRESS WAS INVITED OR ALLOW…

One of NC own bloggers was invited to this event. Yes Pam of Pam’s houseblend was invited and went to this Event.

Yet I’m sure the majority are bloggers and LGBT activist which mean there are already in the public as a public figure.





Social media has been around since Obama got elected. as for the entire LGBT ecosystem,this type can survive without each other, unlike those in a true ecosystem.

Yes More Rich gay men trying to take ownership of the LGBT movement. They also are trying to turn the movement into what they want it to be. Not what is truly in the best interest of our communities.

Yet our community is being block as a whole from this event. Why? No Press allow, there have been no tweets or Fb post concerning this event, not even on the Gill’s Facebook or Twitter or their Webpage.




Then why are we being deny to participate in this event..



Why are you blocking us from this opportunity to contribute to our community. Those that have been chosen are those whom have large sums of money. The working class gays are being left out, solely because we don’t have finical footing.

OutGiving 2011 promises to be our most thought-provoking and stimulating conference ever. We will focus on the work being done on local, national and international levels. We’ll look closely at the changing environment, including changes in public attitudes on issues like marriage equality and safe schools, as well as the evolving trends and tactics of our opposition. And we’ll discuss expanded opportunities to engage new allies and new leadership, as well as the promise and challenges of organizing and communicating through new media.

OutGiving is an invitation-only event, no press allowed. We expect approximately 200 men and women whose cumulative net worth is in excess of $2 billion dollars to join us at this conference. These gay, lesbian and allied supporters’ combined philanthropy and political giving is estimated to be in excess of $100 million annually. Attendees also include leaders from the corporate and foundation community who are instrumental in funding LGBT causes, as well as many executive directors of LGBT organizations.
