SickNTired is someone who has a weird vendetta against anyone who actually shows up and engages in this fight. This person spent his or her entire weekend on a hashtag for an LGBT Media Summit I attended just want only attacking anyone and everything. This person's odd obsessions and bizarre character assassinations (which have ranged from attacking people's financial situations, questioning Pam Spaulding's health, knocking my marriage, claiming we're all "kept" by "Gay Inc," etc.) have become running jokes of just about any LGBT conference. He or she never shows up to anything, he or she never makes an effort to actually understand where anyone is coming from, he or she never does anything resembling heavy lifting. Instead, this person attacks for sport, often in a very personal way. Some find it annoying while others find it enraging. I find it sad and unfortunate that someone would channel his or her passions in this way when he or she could actually be helping to change the deep problems he or she apparently sees within our movement.
My suggestion is to ignore it. The negative energy is not worth the time.
If he did a good search on me, like he does on everything NOM, he would have seen that I have attend and photography many rallies and posts here in North Carolina, I had supply Qnotes with some photos of these events. Chick-fil-A Ceases Anti-gay Donations, Clarifies Stance on Gay Customers & Employees
September 18, 2012 – Chicago, Illinois – The Civil Rights Agenda (TCRA), Illinois’ largest lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) civil rights advocacy organization, has learned that Alderman Moreno has finalized his negotiations with Chick-Fil-A. Alderman Moreno’s advocacy has resulted in the company confirming that they will no longer give money to anti-gay organizations. The Civil Rights Agenda worked closely with the Alderman in an advisory role as he negotiated these concessions with the executives at Chick-fil-A.
In a letter addressed to Alderman Moreno and signed by Chick-fil-A’s Senior Director of Real Estate, it states, “The WinShape Foundations is now taking a much closer look at the organizations it considers helping, and in that process will remain true to its stated philosophy of not supporting organizations with political agendas.” In meetings the company executives clarified that they will no longer give to anti-gay organizations, such as Focus on the Family and the National Organization for Marriage.
Additionally, they have sent an internal memo to franchisees and stakeholders that stated that, as a company, they will “treat every person with honor, dignity and respect-regardless of their beliefs, race, creed, sexual orientation and gender,” and that their “intent is not to engage in political or social debates.” This statement was placed into an official company document called “Chick-fil-A: Who We Are.”
“We are very pleased with this outcome and thank Alderman Moreno for his work on this issue,” said Anthony Martinez, executive director of The Civil Rights Agenda. “I think the most important part of this outcome is that Chick-fil-A has ceased their donations to anti-gay groups in 2011 and going forward. With some of the groups that they were donating to being classified as hate groups, and others actively trying to halt the movement toward full civil rights for LGBT people, Chick-fil-A has taken a big step forward. We are encouraged by their willingness to serve all people and ensure their profits are not used to fight against a minority community that is still trying to gain full and equal civil rights.”
“Although we are encouraged by their internal statement, we still would like for the company to adopt an anti-discrimination policy at the corporate level,” said Rick Garcia, policy advisor for The Civil Rights Agenda. “It is one thing for a company to say they respect everyone they serve and employ, it is quite another for them to put that into their policies and demand that all employees adhere to that behavior. As we have heard from gay employees that work for Chick-fil-A, there is a culture of discrimination within the company and we would like to ensure that employees can speak out and call attention to those practices without fear of reprisal. It takes time to change the culture of any institution and steps like a corporate policy ensure that progress is made.”

Justine Hollingshead, director for N.C. State University’s GLBT Programs and Services, has indicated that there is talk among a variety of student groups on how the university should handle this situation. She feels that students, who have buying power, should have the last word on whether the establishment ought to be given the green light to stay or be asked to exit.To Gay Inc. the only student who have buying power that matter is those LGBT students. Julia Hall, vice president of the Bisexual, Gay, Lesbian and Transgender Mountaineers, said the group had no idea of the signs prior to Monday, and she was not sure if the fliers sympathize with anti-gay or pro-gay movements.
It was announced last summer that West Virginia University signed a contract with the company for the installation of the restaurant in the Mountainlair, which will be opened sometime in February or March.
Hall said BiGLTM members have discussed the issue of boycotting the company, but their opinions are divided on support or opposing the addition in the Mountainlair.
"While we're against anti-gay statements, there isn't enough support among us to oppose them on campus," Hall said.
The Morgantown Police Department was not previously aware of the signs and sent officers to inspect them Monday. Police dispatchers said the signs could be considered hate crimes depending on charges made by the court, if the company or a person who made the signs is found.

Indiana University at South Bend will resume its use of Chick-fil-A’s campus services on Wednesday after suspending the restaurant chain over its plans to provide free lunches for a Pennsylvania conference on traditional marriage.Hopefully we can now all go back to enjoying our "chikin" again!
The restaurant’s services on IUSB’s campus have featured Chick-fil-A meals with the famous chicken sandwiches and milkshakes every Wednesday at two dining locations: the Courtside Cafe and the Grille.
But the restaurant chain, known nationally as a family-held Christian business that does not open on Sundays, was barred late last month at the demand of Campus Ally Network, a pro-gay campus group.
“Last week, Chancellor [Una Mae] Reck ordered a review of the suspension. The review was completed today, and based on a more complete understanding of the facts, Chancellor Reck ordered the end of the suspension. At this time, Chick-fil-A is a full-service food provider for IU South Bend with no restrictions,” said Ken Bairl, IUSB’s director of communications and marketing in a written statement.
