The paradox of our time

in history is that we have
taller buildings, but shorter tempers; wider freeways, but narrower
viewpoints; we spend more, but
have less; we buy more, but enjoy it less. We have bigger houses and
smaller
families; more conveniences, but less time;
we have more degrees, but less sense; more
 knowledge, but less judgment; more
experts, but more problems; more medicine, but less
 wellness.

We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too
recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry too quickly,
stay up too late, get up too
tired, read too seldom, watch TV too much, and pray
 too seldom.

We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our
values. We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often. We've
learned
how to make a living, but
not a life; we've added years to life, not life to years.

We've been all the way to the moon and back, but
have trouble crossing the street to meet the new neighbor. We've conquered
outer space, but not inner
space; we've done larger things, but not better things; we've cleaned up
the
air, but polluted the soul; we've split the atom,
but not our prejudice; we write more, but learn less; we plan more, but
accomplish less.

We've learned to rush, but not to wait; we have higher incomes, but lower
morals; we have more food, but less appeasement; we
 build more computers to
hold more information to produce more copies than
ever, but have less communication; we've become long on quantity, but short

on quality.

These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion; tall men, and short
character; steep profits, and shallow relationships.

These are the times of world peace, but domestic
warfare; more leisure, but less fun; more kinds of food, but less
nutrition.
These are days of two incomes, but more divorce; of fancier houses, but
broken homes.  These are days of quick trips, disposable
 diapers, throw away morality,
one-night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that
do everything from cheer to quiet, to kill.

It is a time when there is much in the show window
and nothing in the stockroom; a time when technology can bring this letter
to you, and a time
when you can choose either to make a difference, or
 to just hit delete...

Just one of those days

Recent Items

It would seem that once again our very own LGBT Org’s have to select someone from another state to be a Keynote speaker at one of our Gala. This year NC Equality has selected Annise Parker simply because she is  Houston first lesbian Mayor… However I’m sure she isn’t the first homosexual to hold this type of office in the US..

Now there is another outrage over a fucking Marriage contest, this one happen to in NC where we don’t have the right to marry… However one again the bitching and whining (acting like a bunch of fucking babies) has paid off now gay couple can enter, however I bet they won’t win… Since we Can’t get Married in NC yet. Simply because no LGBT couples are willing to risk everything by suing for the right to.

I see there is another walk/run event for breast cancer,, Note the American Cancer Society there is more types of cancer in the world beside Breast Cancer, also when was last walk/run event for any type of cancer that effect men only????

Equality Forum has another Icon GLBT history month, where once again many are listed because they are rich and gay period…

From twitter I see the following

More talk about Pastor Eddie Long and sex charge with men, while being anti-gay

Wow a first NAACP leaders reaching out to the LGBT Community

And more Tran’s issue over fucking restroom. This over a school giving a trans (6th grader) a private bathroom.. whatthefuck, also the trans community and child parents are blaming to the school for her depression. Yet if the school allow this boy (too young to have things cut off and added) in the restroom, the rest of the school kids parents would be crying foul for have a boy in the girls rest and locker-room … The school is damned if they do and damned if they don’t. Lets blame the school and not the child fucking parents….who (parents)  n n,m,mm,is to blame in this case…

Bullying Drives Student to Suicide

This is absolutely a tragedy

Billy Lucas, a 15-year-old high school freshman from Greensburg, Ind., took his own life Thursday.

However not to  be cold....or cruel

We need to stop blaming the schools and state laws  on this subject. We need to blame the kids who bully and their parents. Since by the way Bulling in School isn't a new issue, its been around since day one when schools started...

ever since the mid 80's its everyone's else fault, and the state is the blame. enough is enough. Parents need to start parenting and teach their kids that other kids can be cruel and that life isn't fair.. Teach them how to handle such actions... Yes words do hurt but you can learn how to ignore them and still be happy about yourself.

Why is it always Choi

Of all the men and women kick out by DADT, Why do we always see and hear from this Asia Ass-hole, whom got himself kick by telling everyone that he was gay on live TV, other like other whom were found out, whom didn't out themselves...

I bet if the so called demigods of our lgbt leader, who are mostly old white rich men, whom might have slept with or hope to bed Dan Choi we would have hear from many other service men and women on this issue.

I don't care for him... nor those who think they own our movement simply because they are effing rich...  Let all the others whom have been kick out over the years speak for once.

The only reason why it Dan Choi (let you find in it for youself)

Sheriffs want lists of patients using painkillers

This is one of our elected sheriff who wants to know what types and how much legal drug you are taking

Sheriffs made their pitch Tuesday to a legislative health care committee looking for ways to confront prescription drug abuse. Local sheriffs said that more people in their counties die of accidental overdoses than from homicides.
For years, sheriffs have been trying to convince legislators that the state's prescription records should be open to them.
"We can better go after those who are abusing the system," said Lee County Sheriff Tracy L. Carter.
Others say opening up patients' medicine cabinets to law enforcement is a terrible idea.
Look, first statement they are concern over accidental overdoses, then they talk about finding those you are abusing the system..

We don't need these type of sheriffs at all, you wants to play with the big boys whom make laws... if they do then let them run for those offices..

watch they will get what they want some how...

Maryland State Police No cameras, please

Maryland State Police stopped Anthony Graber for speeding on I-95 at a reported 100 mph -- while popping a wheelie on his sport bike. The traffic stop got a little weird when the officer, dressed in plain clothes and driving an unmarked car, busted out of the driver's door with a drawn handgun. The officer rushed over, grabbed the front of the bike and ordered Graber to get off the motorcycle before identifying himself as a State Police officer and holstering the weapon.

If you want it you have to reach for it.

I miss my Camera....

Yes Sad for me, but my baby is in the repair shop, I hope to get it back soon Since I have a event that I was ask to photography again this year in Raleigh...

Very interesting statement, which I'm sure the #transinc community will claim to be Transphobic.. in natural. There is nothing bias ...
