Have you been to ThinkProgress site lately, its Kim Davis every where, just how many stories can one write about a religionist bigot?? Really..
The Best of Charlotte have been named for 2015. The Rest of the NC, remember you don’t really matter to the Staff of Qnotes, cause the only LGBT life worth writing about is that of Charlotte, well till the Pride events roll in towns..
Just Shameful..
One would think after Qnotes and The FrontPage merged it would completely include the whole state..

It's not just fascism. It's homofascism. hotair.com/archives/2015/… |
"Since hosting a discussion with Texas Senator Ted Cruz in my home, I have been inundated with hateful, biased social media messages, and attacks from gay extremists (do I dare say the word?) who demand inclusion, but do not believe in dialogue. I know in my heart that these attacks do not represent the rich culture and diversity of the gay community. Yet, in our community, as in so many others, the most vocal often dominate the conversation. I hope this op-ed will help heal wounds and continue necessary progress and discussion. It is amazing that my businesses are being boycotted by some because I hosted a discussion with an elected official. Not a fundraiser. Not an endorsement. A dialogue. What would we say if the Jewish community organized a boycott of a business leader who hosted a private discussion with an important Muslim politician? We know the answer. I am a longtime leader of my community – and proud of who I am and what I have accomplished. Boycotting me for a discussion? Since when have we grown so small and intolerant?" - Manhattan hotelier Mati Weiderpass, in the opening of his New York Observer op-ed.

Knowing I will have a trans backlash,, I must say this is completely wrong.
NO DAMN WAY A 5YO KNOWS WHAT TRANS IS? OR FULLY UNDERSTAND THESE FEELINGS.. THE PARENTS ARE WRONG TO ALLOW THIS. PERIOD.
Trans PC has gone to far now, the parent should be investigated, and DSS should be called in. I guess now
I'm not saying that gender identity issues aren't real or deserving of empathy and understanding. I'm saying that a five year old child cannot possibly make that decision for him or her self and that the parent that advocates that is off the rails.
This person is correct, no way a 5 year old can fully understand this decision, the parents are making this decision for him/her, I guess the parents want a boy so bad, that they decided one way or other they will have a boy in the family.
I love this one,
Chuck Kenney:: Just think back to when you were a kid or even now. Would you like to walk around with women's clothes on and have your nails polished, etc? The science is there and once this kid hits puberty, the transformation is harder to reverse. I had a hard time wrapping my brain around it as well. But now that I now the biology and having the same self-awareness as this child has, I know the parents made the right choice for their family. There are a lot more inter-sexed individuals around than anyone knows. It's time to educate people on the subject.
When I was a child I love running the road naked, you don’t see me doing it now. So now Trans or inter-sexed, and you wonder why People called Trans folk sick..
Just proves that gay men can hate on str8 men, and accuse them being gay simply because the way they dress and act.. Yet #gayinc is ok with this type of hate..
Austin a Str8 guy who post nudes photos of himself on tumblr, receive the following on his instagram account,
See, this type of hate gayinc is ok with.. one would have to ask why they are ok with this of hate.. Yet it Austin wrote back and said to the guy that he looks like a trans-sexual or sick lonely faggot, Gayinc would be all over it..
GetEqual NC, might be coming back to life, after almost dying out.. for lack of community support and very bad leadership here in NC.
Recently a new post appeared on their Facebook page..
So just would is this Wooten Gough?
VIA from the GetEqual website,
Wooten was born in Winston-Salem, NC and grew up in very rural Yadkin County. In high school, Wooten made new friends that he later found out were undocumented. From there he went to UNC and created Students United for Immigrant Equality and ended up joining the Trail of Dreams, walking with them from Richmond, VA to Washington, DC. Wooten was hired by the Latin American Coalition in 2010 and it was then that El Cambio was formed at the annual Fourth of July Festival in downtown Yadkinville. He now focuses building power in rural communities at the intersection of LGBTQ equality and immigrant justice.
Here is his Facebook and Gplus, for more info.
My question is will they still hide behind Equality NC ?? Are, we they take center stage!
This Past Monday Charlotte City Council meet to debate a LGBT protection measure bill, which would protect all LGBT from discrimination in Public accommodations. Which a course brought the fundies out.
VIA Qnotes, “Charlotte rejects LGBT-Inclusive ordinances after more than five hour public comment and debate.”
The vote was very close, but failed by a 6-5 vote , this was the second time in two decades that Charlotte has rejected this type of ordinance.. If it did pass Charlotte would have been the first city in NC to pass LGBT-inclusive public accommodations and other protections. Which would meant that LGBT people couldn’t be deny service in businesses open the public, like restaurants, hotels, bars or movie theaters.
Afterward on FB Tami Fitzgerald (NC Values Coalition) praise God, that it failed,
Now Janice Covington Allison, who is a Transgender person is calling for the LGBT and it allies to harass one the loudest fundie that was here. How you might ask, she public post his phone number on Facebook.
“Flip Benham’s phone number (980) 7XX-XXXX, ( I won’t be apart of this) Give this Bigot Hell. He is the one I got into a fight with in the Lobby. He is the one who called that young Trans a Boy.”
Ok, yes this guy Is a jerk on many levels, but to publicly post his number and asking folks to call and give a piece of their mind is wrong, and if the shoe was on the other foot, Even she would be bitching that is wasn’t polite, and it was/is harassment.. Period..
We can’t have it both ways..
What lead to the above attack on flip Benham, via Qnotes, Flip and Anti-lgbt activist confronted an Transgender teenager at the Government Center bathrooms. (note: Qnotes love to keep throwing up that Flip was once convicted for stalking a local abortion DR..) the young trans-gender person Olivia used the women restroom, which piss Flip off.. He call her a young man who should have used the men’s room. (note: Qnotes didn’t used her last name because of safety reasons..(bullshit) yet is ok to publish the haters info). the other is that Ms. Allison was also confronted by an anti-lgbt activist on the second floor. (note: qnotes wasn’t able to speak to her about it, but she confirm it via text.)
“one of the most contentious components of the proposed ordinances had been an update to the city public accommodations law. Opponents have claimed it would allow predators to put women and children at harm.. Supporters of the ordinance have called such claims scare tactics and said transgender people are most of the targeted for harassment or violence, not the perpetrators of violence.”
I personally feel it was a set up.. knowing that emotions were running high and that there would be camera everywhere, they used it to make a point or a public show.. which seem to work cause after this they were talking about it at the podium.
I have to wonder if the actions of the local Transgender folks are to blame for this failure..
She express her opinion. Which goes against gayinc rules so the attack alarm was sounded and the online attack and bullying begins
See gays are bullies too.
Hey LGBT folks in Charlotte, where you get to pick which Bartender with the hottest body..
via Qnotes,
Do you have what it takes to be Charlotte’s Favorite LGBT Bartender? Do you serve up the best queer cocktail in town? Think your patrons agree? Then enter our second annual Charlotte’s Favorite LGBT Bartender contest today! Don’t delay! The contest entry period won’t last long!
Yes, cause as we all know that looks and a hot body is the prefer currency for the LGBT Community.
but, don’t worry, they have cover their assess,
Entrants will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, religion, ancestry, national origin, gender, socioeconomic status, academic status, gender identity, physical appearance, sexual orientation, or mental, physical, developmental, or sensory disability.
(first of this what Wikipedia has to say about Cis)
See photo,
Now why couldn’t this person just had said “ trans women attaching women in bathrooms”. Why did they use the Cis word, its to create division among the very group they want to be apart of. They want to belong, but at the same time separate.
Sorry folks you can’t have it both ways
Recently Mary wrote on her Facebook page the following, which I’m sure will piss off many GayInc’ers and many in the Drag community too..
"Why is it socially acceptable - as a form of entertainment - for men to put on dresses, make up and high heels and act out every offensive stereotype of women (bitchy, catty, dumb, slutty, etc.) - but it is not socially acceptable - as a form of entertainment - for a white person to put on blackface and act out offensive stereotypes of African Americans? Shouldn’t both be OK or neither?"
We all know that she has a valid point. The RuPaul Drag is the worst thing to ever happen to the Drag Community. The show is fixed, Over Weight DQ’s don’t stand a chance, they might make it to the top five but never to the top three.. It is fixed..
You go Girl, tell them like it is.. Mary…
GayInc’er Matt Comer of Qnotes/blogger is calling for a Boycott of a Shopping Center because it will be own by an Anti-gay NC Baptist Convention member. Yes The Elevation Church is buying The Matthew shopping center.
Because of this Matt, wants all of Charlotte LGBT member to boycott the center, in essence blaming the shop owner for who owns the property..
so what does his Facebook Followers thinks of this? ( no names will be shown)
one don’t know why a man of God need a shopping center. Another wonder how many meals $10.2 million can feed. However this one is right on point,
The businesses at the shopping center have no control over who owns the property, and they certainly don't have any control over the religious viewpoints of a church. Boycotting those businesses does nothing but hurt the people who own them and work there. Boycotting them is about as silly as the now-defunct boycott against Disney World because of Gay Days.
so what was Matty’s reply,
feel free to give your money, however inadvertent, to a church that assists in advocating against your civil rights. I'll have no part in it.
Most shocking is the support from another LGBT activist.. for this action
Businesses tend to be more cautious about getting into politics than tax exempt churches. Some boycotting and protesting never hurts when they start getting in bed with bigots

According to a report from The Texas Observer the Human Rights Campaign says it’s probably not going to help defend the embattled Equal Rights Ordinance. ordinance recently passed in Plano, TX because according to HRC it’s transphobic citing that an exemption that would bar trans individuals from using restrooms, according to their gender identity but would provide protections for them and LGBT citizens in the area of housing and employment discrimination.
HRC’s Cathryn Oakley told the Observer:
“The language in Plano is very problematic and in terms of investing a lot of resources in an ordinance that has a lot of problems, it’s difficult to see why that’s necessarily the best use of resources. If we had been consulted in the drafting of this bill, we would have withdrawn our support, and given that, it’s hard to justify defending it as valid. ..
“I think the story coming out of Plano is about a city that really wanted to do the right thing, and I wish that this had unfolded differently, because I think that there were good intentions, but things fell apart. I think incremental process is important, I think municipal work is incredibly important, but incremental doesn’t mean leaving part of the community behind. That’s not an acceptable version of incremental.”
First off I don’t subscribe to any religion, you can call me an atheist if you would like, but I consider myself as an Agonistic. I don’t care one way other the other, but this is just wrong, the elected officials in King, NC should have fought this in court..

Phil Labonte, who has a history of controversial comments about gays, is stirring the pot again by saying LGBT people don't have a “legit grievance” concerning slurs.
This the best part,
“Seen a lot of brouhaha on the interwebs about the revolver article. Of course lots of people are saying I should be beat up or killed or I should kill myself. So, basically the blogs n commenters on said blogs are saying this, ‘freedom of speech, so long as you don't offend me.’ So these people are of the same mindset of the people who said the Charlie Hebdo attacks in Paris were justified because some things are just too offensive. I fully understand that to some people it is offensive to hear the word ‘faggot’. I get it, you’re fragile and words give you ouchies. But remember what you’re asking for when you decry protecting the freedom of speech.
I love it, telling it like it is. Gayinc is fine with free speech, till you say something that they don’t like or want to hear..
Via Entrepreneur:
Airpnp is banking on the idea that people are willing to pay to pee and rent their toilet out to desperate strangers. Described as the Airbnb for toilets, the app allows users to search for available toilets at homes and businesses in the area and find out the price to use these establishments. According to the company blog, Airpnp started as a "quasi-joke" in early 2014, built around the concept of how difficult it was to find a place to pee while celebrating Mardi Gras in New Orleans. Within the first three weeks, more 300 bathrooms were added to the map. Airpnp locations range from toilets owned by entrepreneurial masterminds to kindhearted people offering a free place to relieve yourself. Antwerp, Belgium is extremely popular, covered in pins marking what must be the vast majority of places in the city where once can pee for free.
Really, what next???
On Sat Jan 31, join ACT UP to protest HRC (Human Rights Campaign) at their annual gala honoring Fortune 500 companies. While HRC dines with the 1%, a 35+ year HIV epidemic rages on in our LGBT community, still cutting many LGBT lives short.
Health officials warn about the recent sharp increase in HIV infections among young gay men and transgender women, especially among communities of color. We need our national LGBT orgs like HRC to shine a spotlight on HIV and AIDS until the epidemic is over for all populations, especially our most at-risk LGBT people.
HRC has created an LGBT equality index to score the Fortune 500 companies, but there’s no mention of HIV and the thousands of LGBT people with HIV in the workplace. We demand that HRC include several criteria to evaluate companies on their treatment of employees living with HIV, as well as their contributions to organizations and causes relate to reducing the incidence of HIV among LGBT Americans, particularly among the young. For over 30 years, too many have been fired, harassed, outed and discriminated against at work for having HIV.
Also at this gala, many of the corporations that HRC will honor actively work against the interests of middle-class and poor Americans, including people with HIV. ACT UP denounces this frequent practice of ‘”pinkwashing” whereby corporations with policies and practices that undermine the people’s well-being are given positive publicity in exchange for maintaining LGBT-friendly (or just equal) workplaces. This is short-sighted and divisive. We demand that HRC develop other criteria that takes into account the impact of companies’ policies on every American, not just LGBT Americans.
ALL ARE WELCOMED TO PARTICIPATE!
WHAT: ACT UP Protests HRC Gala
WHERE: Waldorf Astoria (301 Park Ave — Meet at 49th and Park)
WHEN: Sat Jan 31 from 5:00PM – 8PM
ATTIRE: Street Fabulous
BRING: Pots, Pans, Signs, Props, Noisemakers, and Signs
DIRECTIONS: Take the 6 to 51st St or the E,M to Lexington Ave and 53rd St
Why, well, over its extremely flawed (and in most cases bought) Corporate Equality Index and the fact that it gives high scores and honors to Fortune 500 companies that actively work against the interests of middle-class and poor Americans, and the thousands of LGBT people with HIV in the workplace.
See at HRC everything is for sale, if you donate large enough

Welcome 2015..
Over at Qnotes there is a piece talking about the new Speaker of the House of the NCGA, and his anti-gay past.. I guess it took a while for Matt and NC Gayiner’s to put this piece together.
So Moore, supported the State Anti-LGBT marriage amendment, didn’t think a LGBT group at college should get funds.
he has this to say on the matter,
“At the heart of the issue was the belief that we shouldn’t use taxpayer dollars or student fees to fund a gay and lesbian group, as well as a lot of other groups for that matter,” Moore told the Raleigh paper.
He has stated that he would continue to defend the state Anti-gay marriage amendment.. So, now NC GayInc is after him.. what is he to do??
Here comes Equality NC,
Advocates for LGBT equality in the state said Friday they were disappointed with Moore’s comments.
“I think what was troubling is that Moore doubled down on his comments instead of apologizing for them at this point in 2015,” Equality North Carolina Executive Director Chris Sgro told qnotes.
Yes, you see you must bow down and kiss gayinc ass for your past mistakes.. NOT!!!
This Piece is you usual attack piece from GayInc here in NC.
But what is shocking is the Str8 bashing in the Comments.. (see I can’t comment on any piece at Qnotes, cause the truth hurts, and they can’t stand it).
see screen shot of the comments,
now if this was the other way around, Matty would have deleted the comments asap, So we have (assuming these are gay folks) laughing at a str8 maybe), and stating that he need to just to come out..
See, folks, GayInc want you to believe that all LGBT folks are not bigots, or bullies, and so, that we are good little boys and girls, with not one evil bone in our bodies.. When the truth that we bully our own, that we support gay on gay hate crimes, that we just as anti-(anything) just like everyone else.
We are our own worst enemy. we bash each other, we use those slurs that we don’t want others to call us. Yes, you know them, Fag, Faggot, cocksucker, bitch, dyke, slur, and the list goes on and on.
See we are like ex-gay is a scam, while we support gay for pay men are not bi or gay, they are jus doing it for the money.. Bullshit, most of these fuckers are gay, just don’t want the title. The others are just using our community..
we are just like everyone else in the world, no better, no worst..
Very interesting statement, which I'm sure the #transinc community will claim to be Transphobic.. in natural. There is nothing bias ...
