A thought?

Was I over the line on my post where I shamed our community leaders for not supporting a counter protest in Raleigh Yesterday?

The LGBT Community of NC need to get organizes and starts making the news again.

Yes, it is true that we are not CA, NY or any other state that has a very large LGBT Community.

Members of NC come out of the woodworks to support our brothers and sisters in CA when Prop8 was passed. We fail to show this type of commitment here at home.

I feel if our community leaders supported this protest there would have been a larger turnout, one in which we with our number could have made a different and if we decided to march on to the ground of Halifax mall, the local cops would have not been able to stop. We would have shown our local legislators what we are here in large numbers and that we want Equality. Instead we have shown that this only matter to a few of us.

While the LGBT members stayed at home, or work, and in the closet, our enemies have made themselves know even more in NC yesterday. It's time to stopping taking baby's steps and start marching in the street once again. We need to voice our concern and stand for those issues that are and have defined in the past.

Our enemies yesterday proved one point: equality in numbers has a louder voice then the few.

Let's take a page from stonewall in NY, the Mattachine Society, who wanted peaceful protest, did very little for the cause, but the riot is what got noticed and that is what brought the community out. So where is the NC riot for equality...?

Children should't be subject to life long medical choices

Very interesting statement, which I'm sure the #transinc community will claim to be Transphobic.. in natural. There is nothing bias ...
