The concept was simple and straightforward: Much like the Day Without an Immigrant march and strike of 2006, Wednesday, December 10, was supposed to be a Day Without a Gay -- a strike in response to the passing of California’s Prop. 8. Despite dedicated volunteer work and a well-intentioned mission statement, by most accounts, it failed.

Nationwide, gays and lesbians were to call in “gay” to work in response to the four antigay measures voters passed on Election Day, including California’s Prop. 8.
By most accounts, it failed.
I knew this wasn't going to work. Please just another stupid protest. yes people it was stupid.. Call out GAY, will lets hope you are in state where you can't be fired for being gay...
