Gill Foundation Hosting Top Secret Gay Inc. Event in Miami
Yet our community is being block as a whole from this event. Why? No Press allow, there have been no tweets or Fb post concerning this event, not even on the Gill’s Facebook or Twitter or their Webpage.
Then why are we being deny to participate in this event..
Why are you blocking us from this opportunity to contribute to our community. Those that have been chosen are those whom have large sums of money. The working class gays are being left out, solely because we don’t have finical footing.
The Gill Foundation is one of the nation’s largest funders of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender equal rights work. Our goal is straightforward: we want to create an America in which all people are treated equally and respectfully.
Over the course of our history, we have invested more than $178 million, including $106 million in grants, to support programs and nonprofit organizations across America that share our commitment to equal rights for all Americans.
Yet they are not treating us equally at all.. Like the old saying “ money talks, shit walks.”
VIA twitter,
Report from #Outgiving - panels on great topics - #DADT, #marriage, social media (mine), #trans #bullying, etc.; nothing top secret IMHO. From Pam Spaulding..
Yet they can’t explain why #OutGiving is private LGBT event that is keeping the press out?
Emails have been sent asking why, no reply to date from the Gill.
THE main three at the Gill, Tim Gill, Urvashi Vaid, John Barabino.
this was the contact for the event, well the person on the invite email, any way.
